Founded by a dermatologist who hated marketing.

Dr. Léa Vasseur (MD PhD, Université de Genève) spent twelve years in clinical dermatology before founding Noir Lab. The thesis was simple: most cosmetic claims are theatre. Most actives are under-dosed. Most consumers deserve transparency.

Today the lab employs six PhDs, three dermatologists and one regulatory officer. Every formula passes 12 weeks of stability, 8 weeks of patch testing and an independent third-party HPLC audit before release.
